Its not easy bulding up the courage to talk about your pain, but when you are ready, you want to make sure you talk to the right people. There are a number of different services available, and they all want one thing, to help you.
Here are our top suggestions.
Your GP is not only trained to help you be healthy but they want you to be healthy. They choose to be where they are out of sincere concern for the wellbeing of all people, and healthy is not just a physical state, it is also your mental state.
A lot of individuals are scared that their doctors are going to think of them as wasting their time, or attention seeking when we go to them about our mental states, we can assure you this is not the case. Your GP, will ask you questions about you and your life, and how you are feeling, they will not question you why and they will not make any judgement.
Not so friends and family
It's incredibly hard to open up to someone you are close to, we sometimes have this mental image of ourselves that we are scared of breaking to our loved ones.
